reliquary box

Completed for ARTF1124 Form & Structure in Fall 2022. Assignment was to use laser cutting techniques to create a reliquary box (an ornate box intended to store relics) of any design. Adrianna designed a jewelry box inspired by renaissance era furniture. The box is velvet lined and features designs of Aphrodite, a sun-snake scepter, and Adrianna's name with custom-designed detailing on the top and feet. The green, mauve, and gold color palette is meant to emulate royalty and took over 25 hours to hand paint. This project was completed using Adobe Illustrator, Rhino 3D, laser cut wood, wood epoxy, gold hinges, and acrylic paint. This project was featured in the Northeastern Spring 2025 Senior Art Show.
