About Me
I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience & Design from Northeastern University in Boston. This degree was an interdisciplinary course of study, spanning across psychology, biology, chemistry, and art/design departments.
My focus has been to study the complex mechanisms of brain functions and how those functions influence human behaviors, particularly when impacted by design and art stimuli. As a foundation, I have developed my scientific skills and knowledge in biology, psychology, psychopharmacology, organic chemistry, genome editing, statistics, and neuroanatomy. Additionally, I have layered on coursework and extracurricular activities in design elements such as painting, multimedium projects, fashion history and retailing, garment creation, three dimensional design, typography, and information design. These experiences primarily utilized the Adobe editing suite, meaning I am proficient in Adobe programs such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Ultimately, my goal is to utilize my scientific background to develop designs leveraging biomimicry as a source of inspiration for marrying form (aesthetic) and function (utilization).
My interests are wide ranging, which is why I find my course of study so appealing. From August of 2018 to June of 2022, I was a volunteer firefighter in my home town of Muir Beach, where I became a Certified Emergency Medical Responder and the youngest firefighter in the history of the department. In my spare time, I continue to practice my skills as a classically trained violinist and choral vocalist. One of my greatest joys is my pursuit of fashion design, both in the creation of custom-made crochet pieces as well as redesign and transformation of used and vintage clothing.

I am deeply committed to maximizing growth, functionality, and efficiency in my work roles, regardless of the position I take on. Whether I am caring for the psychological needs of medical patients, analyzing market dynamics, or designing new products, I always seek to optimize my own performance and that of my employer. My intense focus on learning and adaptation has helped me to succeed.
