Multimedia wings

Completed for ARTF1124 Form & Structure in Fall 2022. This assignment was the culmination of the semester, asking to combine skills taught in class into a multimedium 3D project. The wings were designed on Adobe Illustrator, adapted to Rhino 3D, and laser cut. The chest and backpiece feature a custom made lattice design, allowing the wood to bend to fit the wearer. Each wing features 12 wing frames, connected using blue cotton yarn. This project was done in conjunction with Lillian Bergin, who designed the counterpart - multimedium pants with laser cut wood, chain, and laser cut paper. Adrianna's wings are smooth and fluid, but have sharp spikes on the top of each wing frame that thematically and aesthetically connect to Lillian's sharper, rigid pants. The two pieces are meant to be shown together as a pair.
